Bold, simple graphics created the backdrop for the event. These modular design assets were created strategically so they could be used across an array of mediums. Using The Mazamas social channels, partnering with local outdoor agencies/companies, and word-of-mouth, we educated the public on the event and plethora of events and workshops.
Over the course of the week, thousands of attendees went to talks, movies, events, and workshops. These included an Ice Climbing (Dry Tooling) competition, Speaker Series, Movie Screenings, Clinics, and a Summit with Lynn Hill.
During the Summit people gathered at The Redd in SE Portland and participated in raffles, dined, chatted with fellow climbers, and heard an amazing presentation from storied climber Lynn Hill. After the event, a PAFterparty was hosted at a local pub complete with various competitions like knot untying after a minute in an ice bath, rope tying, and a crimp weight-off.
